Apollo Bay Seafood Festival

Have you ever been to Apollo Bay? It is stunning! Truly stunning. Green hills fall into an azure blue sea and the fishing fleet docked at the sheltered end of the bay bop and sway in the gentle swell. We thought, as it was such a beautiful place, it was a no brainer to send Frank Camorra and a few of his chefs down there for the Apollo Bay Seafood Festival. There has been a fishing industry down there on the Great Ocean Road for well over a century and the locals want to keep their small scale fishery – producing some of the best seafood in the country – for another century or more. They are holding a festival from Friday 16 Feb to Sunday 18 Feb 2018 combining education, arts, food, and music. Frank is cooking up a four course seafood feast at the Mechanics Hall on Feb 16 at 7pm. With local wines it will be $150 per person. Expect the best of Frank’s Spanish technique on the flipping fresh local seafood. Checkout the rest of the festival including accommodation suggestions and event bookings at www.apollobayseafoodfestival.com.au
