Little Bourke Street Block Party
Four restaurants. 4 dishes. 4 drinks. One party!
Somewhere between smoke, spice, zest, and the bassline of a mariachi band, you’ll find the Little Bourke Street Block Party—a riot of flavours and good times, brought to you by MoVida Aqui, Rosa’s Canteen, SilkSpoon, and Tomm.
We’re taking over the newly polished terraza at Little Bourke Street, Barcelona-style. Tables spill onto the pavement, drinks in hand, music in the air, the scent of saffron and spice curling around you. This is a street party with soul, part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, and the perfect excuse to gather your friends, loosen your belt, and sink into an afternoon of indulgence.
Frank Camorra is firing up the XL paella pans, Rosa Mitchell is stuffing porchetta rolls, Victor Liong is bringing the heat, and Tom Cooper is stacking crumpets with cold-smoked goodness. Lamb ribs dripping with cumin and caramel. Saffron-stained rice, rich with seafood. Flatbreads kissed by the coals, layered with spice and char. All washed down with Sangria, Spritzes and more. And if you’re still hungry? We might just fry up some fresh, golden churros.
No need for a BYO chair. But bring your appetite—and maybe a little extra room.
