It’s heading to party season and Frank Camorra has decided to throw a paella party. “Paella is party food,” says Frank. “It’s the Spanish version of the Australian BBQ. It’s cooked outdoors. It’s usually prepared by the men. Everybody has an opinion on how to cook it best and it’s always loads of fun.” Frank and the Movida Aqui team are turning the forecourt at Movida Aqui into a massive paella cook off with paellas packed with prawns, chicken, calamari and our mussels being prepared on Saturday October 28 at 12pm. The party kicks off with four different pinchos – gilda, salmon pastami montadito, tortilla espanol and jamon and cheese croquette washed down with a little sherry. There’s red and white wine with the paella and a glass of dessert wine to go with the crema catalana. This will be one long fun lunch.
