Producer Mainegra
The first producer in Navarra to qualify for the Cava DO
Mainegra was founded in the Basque town of Mendavia in Navarra, just to the north east of Rioja, in 1985 and is now under the watchful eye of the original owner’s two sons.
Mainegra became the first producer in Navarra to qualify for the Cava DO, a non-geographic denominacion status reflecting the consistent quality and exclusive use of the traditional Champagne method.
