Los Colmares is from high-altitude vineyard planted with old-vine Tempranillo on limestone-rich soils. Low yields and careful hand harvesting deliver concentration without heaviness, while measured ageing in French oak adds depth and polish rather than overt oak influence. The wine opens with dark cherry and blackberry layered with graphite, dried herbs and subtle spice, before a powerful yet controlled palate of fine tannins, fresh acidity and mineral drive.
