El Galayo Albillo Real Blanco is crafted from organically farmed vineyards across the Cebreros DO in the northern reaches of Sierra de Gredos. The region is composed of high altitude vineyards planted on granite soils with bush vines only, all of which are a minimum of 50 years old.
Serious terroir and vineyards require serious thoughtful winemaking, enter Jesus Soto. He moved to the region in the mid 2000's after he fell in love with the landscape. From here he helped re-build the local co-operative winery to produce pure expressions of Cebreros wines.
A stunning example of Orange wine, with 30 days on skins in Concrete tank this jumps of of the glass with flavours of Orange Marmalade, orange peel, lemonade yet highlighting the granite with a salty edge and powdery tannins.
