Lanzarote is like a moonscape on earth, the black ashy soils and the creators in which vines grow are astonishing to see.
Rayco and his team have taken on a huge task working on an island that has multiple active volcanoes. They work with very old vines, tiny parcels and extreme conditions.
Here in the Tinto they work with 100% Listan Negro, sourced from 100+ year old vineyards from across Lanzarote.
Light in colour but not in expression, it displays wild tones of Strawberries, earth, ash and lovely salinity.
