Soalheiro Espumante Bruto is a genuine category pioneer — made since 1995, it was the very first 100% Alvarinho sparkling wine ever produced, a trend other producers in Vinho Verde and Rías Baixas are only now catching up to. Made using the traditional method with secondary fermentation in the bottle, it's built from grapes grown on granite soils at 100–200 meters altitude, chosen specifically for their acidity and freshness. The result is a lemon-yellow sparkler with fine, persistent bubbles, fresh and fruity Alvarinho aromas, and a palate that shows real minerality and a lasting finish, all balanced by a delicate interplay of acidity and alcohol.
