If you love Soalheiro's classic Alvarinho, Granit takes it up a level of precision and intensity. This is a single-vineyard, mountain expression: grapes sourced from high-altitude parcels around 400 meters in Monção and Melgaço, planted directly in granite soil.
That altitude and rocky terroir push the wine away from ripe fruit and toward pure minerality — less fruit and more acidity, revealing an unusual dimension of Alvarinho that regular Alvarinho doesn't show. Expect a bright, lemon-yellow color with elegant, mineral-driven aromas, and a crisp, dry, persistent palate loaded with earthy, stony flavors and a distinct sensation of saltiness on the finish.
